Carl Razazi's Published Advertisements

The Observer is an awarding winning campus newspaper at Central Washington University.

It is published weekly during the academic quarters of Fall, Winter & Spring respectively.

The Observer has a formidable circulation of 6,000 per week which directly eclipses Ellensburg's own Daily Record newspaper publication.

By working directly with both the sales manager & sales support team I helped ensure that $20,000 worth of paid advertisement space for the 2009-2010 orientation issue successfully surpassed all previous sales records.

The Observer secured nearly $2,500 worth of paid advertisement space per week. It was my responsibility to ensure that the advertisements met deadlines & that my designs received client approval before publication.

I highly valued my experience as the advertisement designer for The Observer while completing my bachelor's degree at Central Washington University.

I gained valuable insight into the professional world of advertising by successfully managing multiple deadlines while exceeding the expectations of our clients.

This paid position also helped structure my robust academic schedule and ensured that I strengthened my career focus after graduation.

The advertisements on this page offer a brief sampling of the professional work I designed for The Observer.
